Refund & Cancellation Policy

The way we'd rather you pause: skip the month
We believe in continuity, not churn. If a cycle isn't right for you, the primary tool is Skip this month — one tap from the Account page pushes your next charge out by 30 days while your access continues uninterrupted. You can skip once per billing cycle.
You can also cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds — available, but limited
Refunds are offered as a goodwill exception, not a default path. Two conditions must be met:
- 7-day window. The charge must have been made within the last 7 days.
- One per 12-month calendar cycle. Each customer may receive only one refund in any rolling 12-month period. If you've already been refunded in the last 12 months, the next eligibility opens 365 days after that refund.
Approved refunds return the full charge and end the current plan immediately. Outside the 7-day window, or if you've already used your annual refund, the charge is final — you can still skip or cancel.
How to request a refund
- Open the Account page inside Kioo.
- Reach out through the contact channel on that page with the charge date and reason.
- If eligible, we issue the refund via our payment processor, Stripe, and cancel the plan immediately.
Refunds return to your original payment method. Banks typically post the funds within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
Cancelling without a refund
Cancel from the Account page at any time. Cancellation stops future billing — you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and nothing further is charged.
Exceptions
Free-trial periods are not charges, so there is nothing to refund — simply cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first billing. Chargebacks initiated outside this policy may result in suspension of the account.
